A one hour religious education lesson on Muslim views on gender and contemporary family issues including LGBT families, prejudice and discrimination and the role of men and women.
This was used for GCSE RS Thematic Studies AQA (9-1) Theme A (but is editable for other exam boards or KS3). It is fully adaptable and includes essay preparation, quote analysis tasks, a variety of activities, a 12 mark practice question, clips and questions and is fully differentiated (to three levels throughout).
This pack includes a PowerPoint, worksheets, clips, all well differentiated. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow. All our resources are editable (so easy to adapt for your classes).

A two hour, fully-resourced PSHE lesson all about making responsible personal hygiene and health choices. This lesson covers vaccinations, blood and organ donation, stem cell research and personal hygiene. Students will investigate the importance of all of these factors for both preventing the spread of disease and treating illnesses in others. They will also exam the moral implications behind ideas such as stem cell research and learn a bit about the science behind these too (although this is not a science lesson, it is a PSHE lesson).
The lesson includes a 2 hour detailed PowerPoint, information sheets, differentiated challenge activities and worksheets, clips tasks with questions, literacy tasks and case study tasks. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow. This is a recent addition to the Complete Year 9 PSHE Pack, which has been added to help consolidate a ‘spiral curriculum’ in student learning - as suggested by the PSHE Association for the 2020 Guidelines.

The lessons require no prep beforehand and encourage students to consider a variety of philosophical arguments for and against God and their religious counter-arguments. They then use these, as well as new terminology and knowledge to tackle practice exam questions and peer assess them.
These were used in for GCSE RS Thematic Studies AQA Theme C (9-1) - but both are adaptable for other exam boards or KS3.
Both are fully editable and introduce a variety of new philosophical terminology, quotes, activities, 12 mark practice questions, clips and questions and fully differentiated for grades 3-9. There is a focus mostly on Christianity and Islam for the religious arguments.
